I Hate Windows - because

I hate, hate, HATE Windows, in all its dumb forms. To get rid of my frustration of meeting this utter devastating trainwreck of an "Operating System" (and using that term REALLY lightly) I write away my frustrations here.

I hate Windows because simply creating recovery media (something that should be delivered WITH a machine for Christ's sake) takes 4 hours on my very fast hardware.

I hate Windows because installing a real OS gets harder and harder because Microsoft does its best to discourage people from trying something else:

• Changing a disk mode requires https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/ubuntu-installation-on-computers-with-intel-r-rst-enabled/15347 - horrible. And it does not work.

I hate Windows because every little thing causes it to fail to boot, and its dumbass stupid and incredibly badly designed "repair tools" never work.

I hate Windows because every little thing requires a reboot.

I have Windows because that piece of garbage requires you to have a Microsoft account - unless you know exactly what to do to prevent that

I hate Windows because it STILL does not have a package manager

I hate Windows because installing updates takes forever, and the utter devastating morons that created that update code are too fucking stupid to have them install all in one go. So for an older Windows install getting all updates to install can take several hours  - and many restarts. All requiring manual labour. 

I hate Microsoft for installing, without ANY QUESTION, their new piece of fucking shit browser- making me lose time to walk through their stupid uncancellable "Let's get started" shit and making me remove the crap.

I hate Microsoft for inflicting this horrible piece of crap upon people.
